*Tech @ Tipping Point UK*
Bringing powerful digital tools <https://actionnetwork.org/forms/tech> to
grassroots groups, in the fight for climate justice. I work 3.5 days a
week, so may not always be able to get back promptly. Feel free to book a
meeting with me <https://cal.com/joeirving/tp>.
*Support Tipping Point UK*
We organise with grassroots groups in the UK for climate, migrant and
social justice. Can you help fund this work?

Please
give £5 per month, or whatever you can afford, to help us build the
movement.

I also like this idea! Last year (or the one before??)
Space 4 did have
something like this that I attended and also a summer picnic thing which I
did not. I can't remember what they called it but it was buzzing. As far as
I remember it wasn't massively tech centric either so maybe interesting to
chat to them and see if we could do some joint thing?
BORAC also a good shout. If folks are happy sharing bunk rooms and someone
organises food could be a very productive 2 day event.

That would be really nice. We ran UnTechCon and
there was ambition but
never budget to do an IRL one.

My first idea I didn't get into our meeting was:
Festival of left tech
IRL/online hybrid event hosted at SPACE4 in London. Invite everyone
working in this field e.g. CoTech, cool orgs, redecentralise etc etc
Networking and Lightning talks etc. Fun, weird and social. Influenced by
Chaos Congress, EMF etc but tiny.
Make it explicitly left.
Use it to build energy and enthusiasm in this bubble which kinda fizzled
out due to the pandemic and accompanying wildness.
In solidarity
